Most of these drawings were done while I was at graduate school at the University of Washington. I have always been both fascinated and horrified by nuclear bombs. These drawings are all graphite on paper, and they certainly contrast with the previous work that I've posted. I feel like I just did them for myself, and didn't quite know what to do with them. I came upon them recently, and decided to post them. The contrast between how beautiful some of these images are, and the horrible reality of what they depict is rather unsettling. Since 1945, The United States has tested over 1,000 atomic bombs on our soil. We have also been so kind as to let the United Kingdom test 24 atomic bombs here.

New Painting
Actually, this painting is far from new, as I've been working on in for many months... But It's finished. For now. This painting began like the smaller paintings I previously posted, but I pushed the space and form development further. This one is 30" square. Thanks for visiting my BLog.

Illustrated Story
This is a collection of recent drawings, on paper, of ink and gesso, about 8"x11". They illustrate a novel of complex assortments. Each drawing is the sole illustration and title of a chapter within the unpublished story of triumph over trajectory. I had previously posted the entire collection, but I have deleted some in the interest of space and which ones are my favorites. If you would like to see the entire story in order, I would be more than happy to email them to you. Thank you for visiting my BLog.

I have a blog!
Who needs a website, when you can have a blog? Well, until the day I have my own personal website, this blog should do the trick. The main thing here is to have a place on the web to post some of my recent artwork. I really have no idea how this blog this works, so this will really be a work in progress. First, maybe I'll try and get some images up. BLOG!!!
